how long does it take to change nameservers?

I changed the nameservers in my godaddy domain and it has been about 3 days and I can't seem to resolve the hostname still. Should I contact my hosting company or godaddy for support?

0-72 hours, depending on how often your ISP "refreshes" their DNS servers.

Whenever I use NameCheap.com it's been 1-2 hours with my ISP's DNS.

i've had it in 6 hours, but that's just because i was lucky and got in near the refresh, but up to 72
