How long does it take someone to receive an item in Canada from the US?

I shipped by Global Express Mail on the 24th of December. Arrived in Canada on the 30th. Buyer has yet to receive it.

Anyone care to share their experiences?

3 weeks is common,
2 weeks is Fast.

Canada to the USA is as bad or worse.

There aren't expedited shipments? What about shipments from the UK?

So nothing for me to worry about? Global Express is supposed to take 4-6 business days... but I guess they really mean 4-6 business days to get to Canada.

Could be stuck in customs. If you didn't document everything or undervalued, then they may be holding for investigation.
