It's been a month and they've still not finished reviewing my claim. Is there a max amount of time that Paypal can look at the claim before finishing deciding?
Thanks

it can take as much as 60 days.

You will lose if you are a seller and they filed 'not as described.'

Even if you win, they will chargeback and you still lose.

in my experience.............

well - im the buyer so :)
And it was not as described:
The game was cracked in the center, but I left positive feedback on eBay cause I was a retard (didn't inspect the CD closely). 30 minutes after popping it in and leaving the feedback, my xbox said it couldn't read it

I don't know if I can chargeback if I lose since it's been more than 30 days...

you can chargeback for 6 months wth the CC

there have been numerous scams of people doing chargebacks 5.5 months later, after all feedback was cleared and tracking info was erased. People simply don't want to pay for items they chargeback and paypal seller protection is a joke.

I wouldn't worry in your case. The seller should have came through for you though.

Do what I do with broken media. Go to gamestop buy another used copy and do a switcharoo.

Based on your track record - you are out for a month.

How many more people do we need to post these types of stories. What is so diffucult in understanding "always pay with a real CC and start chargeback immediately in case of problem".
