I didn't even know you could get a plate through the mail. I always just went down to the courthouse and got it.

About a month. Do you have a temp plate right now with date on it ?
Your new plate will come around the last week of the expiration, I think.

It took me about a month to get my plates, though it may take as long as two.

Because you can get the plate in about 15 minutes, as opposed to 3 weeks.

Because if you can get the plate fast, you don't even have to buy temp tags in the first place, so it's cheaper. That and it's taken care of so you don't have to worry about it.

No 30-day tags? Weird. Here if you can get the real tags right after you get the car it saves a lot of hassle.

no 30 days tag. Dealer attaches registration to front window and that is all till you get your plates in the mail. So till then if u run red light camera u can't get a ticket

forgot to ask this yesterday, you have to buy plates till you get your permenet plates? Is temp looks like regular temp or is just the date of when you bought your car?
