How long does it take for newegg to...

Not quite hardware, but it's not for O/T either.

So I've got my computer ordered, it's sitting at step 1 for the past 2 days. I called them this morning (woke up to do it to) and she told me my card was approved, but it needed verification. Nice security, I'm not bitchin about that, but it's still sitting at step 1 six hours later.

How long do they take to complete step 1 once it's been approved and verified?
I ordered a PSU from newegg just 15 minutes ago (zipzoomfly failed miserably) and it's already approved and in step 3.

Something else I ordered from newegg at the exact same time (was part of the original order) is already in the city.

If it's pending verification, you may need to call your credit card company to get the charge approved.

I'd give them a call, something is not right with that. The egg always processes my orders right off the bat.

Ok, I found out my credit union will not verify my address and phone number to a merchant w/o a 3-way conf call. They would easily do so for a financial institution, but not a merchant. bah!

Frustrating as I have < 45 mins to start getting ready for work.

Update: Newegg decided to override their normal procedure, considering I have three prior orders with them that went through, they deemed this is not likely a fraudulent charge. I should have my stuff middle of next week.

I picked a bad time to quit smoking.
