My dad is shipping a Xclio Goodpower back to newegg for an RMA. The item is deactivated, so how long would it take for them to ship an equivalent item to me?

If the item is deactivated, you're likely looking at a refund.

depends on how old it is. If it's past 30 days I think it'll be replaced with an equivalent.

:( Something wrong with the shipping label... Gonna send it on Monday.
I'm guessing about a week before I get something, right?

OT, I like posting on anandtech because I know I'll get a couple responses...

This is what will probably happen, based on my experiences.

Based on my experience, they email you when they receive it, next day you'll get an email saying they don't have that one anymore and either
1) they are looking for an equivalent to offer you and you'll get the offer of a different unit or a refund the next day, or
2) they are giving you a refund right then

I agree but let me qualify this statement-- 1) they are looking for an equivalent to offer you and you'll get the offer of a different unit or a refund the next day, or

My experience has been they almost never give a better PSU than what you had to RMA!!
When they mean equivelant they mean that price wise and product wise!

Every time this has happened to me I just emailed them what I would like to have as a replacement and they adjusted my original purchase price into the equation of the replacement product (I pay the negative of the more expensive part, or get a partial refund if it's cheaper).

Edit: It could be b/c I've spent like 5k with them in the past 2 years too....my friend hasn't had the same luck with them.
