How long does it take for Dell to ship out a notebook? [system has been ordered]

Will I be able to get this in time if I just choose ground shipping.

Dell Home doesn't have free shipping btw...fark

Depends. Took a little over a month for me to recieve my Inspiron 8200, but that was at launch. I'd say it varies and you can never be sure.

I think your chances are good in getting your laptop in 15 days, just to be sure I would specify and pay for overnight shipping.

I'd rather not take the chance with ground shipping and Dell.

I saw a sweet GRX 570 today. That system looks so sweet.

Bear in the 8200 is a desktop replacement so it's both big, bulky and heavy but it kicks ass in terms of performance ... do you want portability/sweet looks or kick ass performance?

I don't mind a desktop replacement.

Sweet looks like the GRX 550 are nice but damn thats expensive.

Just get the Dell 8200, too bad their promo's and coupons pretty much suck right now a few weeks ago they were offering $150 rebate, free CD-RW or DVD upgrade, free shipping _AND_ there was a $75 coupon floating around.

They still have the 150 rebate and the 75 off still exists.

The only sucky thing is the no free shipping.

Yes, that is what I would suggest. They'll have a list of estimated arrival dates and all you have to do is call and ask what it is for an 8200 with all the features you want. Their lists are categorized by component, so an 8200 w/CDRW might take longer than an 8200 w/DVD. Price out your laptop and call them up.
