How Long Does it Take For Amazon To Approve You For The Platinum Card?

I wanted to get a $20 gift card to use for my purchase right now so I applied. How long does it take to get approved, use the card, get the reward gift card? Thanks!

The card company had an old address on file for me so I think it was about a week. The credit is e-credit so you can use it as soon as the card is approved.

If you are not instantly approved and it said we will notify you, 90% of the time that means you have been DECLINED. You should receive a DECLINE letter via US Postal mail in about 1 week.

I tried twice last year for the Amazon $30 GB, was declined both times.

NOOOO~ been 5 minutes.. no approval... damn.
