How long does it generally take mail to filter through a large company's mail system?

JUst like the title says, how long does it generally take for a large company's mail system to get a piece of mail from the mailroom all the way to the person it is for? I know there is a lot of things involved, such as organizing the mail as it comes in, then delivering ti to the appropriate person.


How long does the process generally take?

add about 1-3 days here to the normal USPS time

probably same day or next day. the mail comes and most likely it's placed in his/her mailbox and he/she will need to go check it

Depends on the organization, the mail and the process. I've seen places where it's delivered to the appropriate department within hours of receiving and sorting.
