I need mine for October and sent it in three weeks ago. Am I screwed?

Update:

I called and paid the $80 expeditited service fee to get it in a week.
Damn rip off but didn't want to risk it.

Mine took 2.5 weeks through snail mail.

Another example is of a family member who paid extra for rush order. Picked it up themselves in the Atlanta passport center after only 3 business days.

Nope, you should be okay. I think they say something like 6-8 weeks for standard processing.

It took ours 3 weeks when we applied in August. My parents had theirs within 3 weeks with normal service in mid-august.

They are sayoing it will take much longer as people need themm to go to Mexico and Canada the requests are expected to jump

If you do not have a passport I strongly suggest you get one. They are pretty cheap and are good for a while. Better to have ond not need than not have and need
