ATOT,

Currently I'm grilling some fish, but my mom made shish-ka-bobs and froze them before she left on vacation. This was around 3 weeks ago. Are they still good, provided they are frozen.

And just for future reference, how long does fish take to rot in the freezer?

Should be fine - it's frozen, it doesn't rot ;) Freezer burn on the other hand...

I'm pretty frozen meat last a very long time. When we bought our freezer, we had a cow in there. I guarantee you we didn't eat that cow in under three weeks.

if frozen it last a LONG TIME.

heck i have a turkey thats going on 6 months. it has a tag on it that says if frozen its good until almost jan of next year

though it does depend on the freezer. a fridge top one will not last as long as a good deep freezer.

If you seal them in one of those air-sucking bags, they can last even longer.

Remember, freezing stops all molecular activity therefore shutting down the process of bacteria growth or spoilage.
