How long does bread last in a freezer?

I know that bread will tend to be crappy after you thaw it out, but in terms of overall time that you can leave it in the freezer...how long?

I had some in there for two months and want to know if its still [reasonably] healthy to eat.

I always put the bread in the freezer. After a while the quality may suffer but it will be safe to eat.

other than being stale/freezer burned, you could keep it in there forever

Fine. I've had bread in the freezer for 6 months, that I forgot about, and it was fine. Ends to get plasticy.

You're fine after only 2 months. I store my bread in the freezer all the time, it only takes a few minutes to thaw.
