How long does bacon last?

Really off topic i know..anyways...I wanna make bacon and eggs, but the bacon i have i opened last sunday, just wondering if it's still good

the package had the best before date, that i threw away

Don't fool around with food. Threw it away if it is pass the best use date.
 
if you won't eat it all (i.e. you know you only eat a few servings at a time before you finish the package and it will go bad) you can take out the individual portions and freeze them.
 
It's too bad there are so many younger people here who never had the good fortune of listening to grandparent's stories about going through the depression. Yes, cook it and it'll be fine. If it has mold growing on it, scrape off the mold, cook it, and you'll be fine.

In fact, some of the best steaks have been aged so long that there IS stuff growing on it that is scraped off before you ever see the steak.
Scrape it off... it's going to be cooked. You'll be fine.
