How long does a thread last?

How long does a thread that gets no more replies and bumps last before it gets deleted from the forums?

it never gets deleted. it gets put into the archieves.

so you are saying that we can read threads from like 2 or 3 years ago?

I beleive the archives are only kept up to a certain point.
