how long does a seagate rma take?

i'm still waiting for them to send me back a hd that i sent in 3 weeks ago... anyone ever have any experience w/ seagate rma?

Wow I'm surprised you can even RMA, I can't ever find good hard drives for sale that aren't OEM...I'm sure a lot of us here got our HDD's OEM.

i got my HDD retail from compusa 6hr sale i think, punched in the serial on seagate's website and says it's still under warranty

You should call them, I wouldnt think it would take much more than 3 weeks, depending on what day of the week you sent it back to them.

I RMA'd a Seagate a few weeks ago, and the turn-around time was very good. Within a week after they received my old one. You can check your RMA status online: Click here.

it says the status is "Issued partially received" and the detailed page is really confusing and i dont see any customer support number i can call...
