I googled, but I would like to hear what atoter's say. I bought one today and its sitting out on my counter right now. Its kind of red on the top, and about half of one side is green and the other half is gree with a yellow tinge. It is also kind of soft.

no idea on time...depends on when it was picked etc.

But the should be soft-ish and yellowy-green when ripe (maybe some reddish tinge) ;)

I'm more interested in papaya.. For a Mango, color doesn't mean a whole lot, its by touch. When its nice and soft, its RIPE and juicy. If its firm, its going to be dry..
