How long do you wait to hear from a job after being interviewed?

HR person is being a ass and making me schedule interviews. Problem is though i'm not sure what sorta timelines people wait to hear back from a job (I've always either been hired on the spot, day after, or no interview at all). Doing 10 some odd interviews though so going to take a week+ proobbly after the first person to decide.

So anwyays comment on this on what your preferred waiting time is and how long would u wait. Poll to just for good measure.

When you interview, you should ask what sort of timeframe they are working on. That way you know if you should wait 1 week or 1 month. Some companies cram lots of interviews into a couple days a know in a week. Some spread them out and it takes 3 weeks jsut to do the 1st interviews... I'd wait 2 weeks though if I didn't have any idea what to expect

What kind of job are you applying for? You can have all the "preferred waiting times" you want, but I'm pretty sure they'll tell you when they're ready. The most I've had to wait for a positive response is 2-3 weeks.
