I just found some people around me that have their lives replaced by AIM. They stay on 24 hours, and have 200 buddies. Well... I stay on.. 24 hours... hmm...

So.. just curious...

How many hours do you stay on AIM?

How many active buddies do you have on your list?
 
i'm usually on AIM 24 hours a day... although i usually restart my computer every other day or so so i've only been online 1 day and a few hours. (idle about 90% of that time.. i'm hardly ever at m comptuer anymore)

i have 19 buddies on my list, 2 of which are online (including me... yes, my own name is on my buddy list)
 
~150 buddies between AIM and MSN. (Trillian) It's on whenever my computer is, which is only when I'm home, but I may or may not be around. I treat it like an answering machine, largely. Beats people calling my phone.

100 friends from school and work and family
30 or so from the internet.
 
i'm going on 6 days on my current session, most of the time i leave it on 24 hours a day and just reboot once a week or so only 50 buddies
 
I probably have 75 buddies - but I am truly online 100% of the time. I can log in via my cell phone. So although I don't have an insane log in time like 6-7 days, I can always be reached. Cell phone AIM is way more convenient than sitting in front of the comp too.
 
My main computer has AIM signed on 24-7 with 190 buddies. However, I will only be signed on every once in a while since I am on vacation now.
 
When I lived at school I left AIM on all day but now that's the semester is over I turn it off at night.
I have 50 buddies.
 
I leave it on all day (most of the time set to AWAY) because I'm in and out of my home office... they usually leave a msg for me if need be... and I just answer them when I see it.

I have 74 buddies on my list... I'd say about 50 are active users.

Most of them are people I know from real life... and some are just contacts made through the web... I have a few for prior web contract jobs. Then there are those contacts who run FTPs. 🙂 I don't have any girlie girls with "cute" or "chick" in their name met through the Intraweb. The one girl I met online was from the Prodigy days and I've met in IRL in Chicago last year. Talk about a real long time huh ? Think almost 10 years from the time I started talking to her to the time I met her.

 
I have been connected for 9 days, 4 hours, and 29 minutes, and have 80 buddies, of which I talk to no more than 5 of.
