my cable modem isp isnt reliable enough to stay on for more than 2 days at a time before i get kicked off .. however my computer at work hasnt had to be restarted or go offline in over a month. I guess its becuase i'm running win2k and its just more stable.

At college mine runs for about 8 months straight, with the occasionaly (maybe bi-monthly restart). Windows 2000 works well.

As long as possible. At college that was anywhere between a few minutes and 48 days (Win98 SE).

I have two WinXP boxes at home that are up 24/7... One of them now hasn't been rebooted for about 3 weeks, the other probably 2 weeks.

average uptime is like 1-2 weeks, it would be MUCH longer but something always comes up (new software, power going out, having to move the computer...)

until CS stops working, which only happens if I multi task out and for some reason the window doesn't minimize

My normal monthly connection time is 600-700hrs per Verizon since my DSL line is connected 24/7. As for my computer uptime I made it 15days at one point with Win2K.

My Win2k box has been running for over 2 months without a reboot. God knows how long that FreeSco router has been chugging along from inside my closet :D

Work PC runs for weeks on end before a reboot.
Home pc from when I wake up till I go to sleep. As for the isp, they are usually reliable, though wierd thing is, when I pcanywhere from my work pc to my home pc after anywhere from a few minutes to an hour the cable modem will just die for a moment killing all the connections on my home pc as well as the pcanywhere. :( Anyone else ever have this happen?
