How long do you keep your T-shirts?

Pretty much until they fall apart. When they get holes in them or just get to where I can't wear them normally, I use them for work clothes.

I'm a senior in college and I still wear shirts from the 6th grade (luckily for me, 6th grade was whne all the kids wore shirts that was 3~4 sizes too big for them) 😉

I have a t-shirt that's 9 years old and it has holes all over it.
I wear it to go work out since I don't need fancy t-shirt for working out like most people at my gym who wear $30 nike shirt...

until i outgrow em or they get holes/faded.

haha my high school clothes are too big for me to wear now

I have a few t-shirts that are about 20 years old and with no holes. Then again when you only wear the thing maybe 3 times a year, it doesn't get to worn out. Now my old military undershirts have some pretty good holes in them and they aren't but about 17 or 18 years old. 😉

I still have a T-shirt from 19 years ago :Q

Granted, I don't wear it--it just sits in the closet . . .

Old T-Shirts rock. They are the most comfortable thing on earth. I keep them until the GF starts looking at me weird or the neighbors start reporting a bum in the neighborhood. 😀

I have some very comfortable Hanes "Beefy-T" T-shirts (these are the best quality Ts made, I think) that are 10 years old and never more comfy. 🙂

I could have voted for option 1 or 2... I voted for 1.

I generally keep clothes for a long time.

I have some sweats that are about 8 years old... holes all over the place (including a growing one in the crotch😛), but they are comfortable as hell. I use them to sleep in or jog with when it is cold.

I had a similar situation last week, I went through my closet and saw post-prom t-shirts and senior trip stuff. I graduated in 1996, they were stained beyond belief and had holes everywhere. I have resolved that if the shirt is older then two its going to be in the garbage.
