sorry about the bad choices. all my sisters brush teeth for 30mins - 1 hour or more and my max is 30 minutes. I usually do 15 minutes +
 
I use an electric so I slobber all over the place. Can't roam like I used to.

I think 3 minutes is the American avg. At least it was when I took Health in HS. I answered 5 minutes and teach said it was incorrect. ¬
 
1-5 Mins is kind of a crappy poll choice. You should have one for less than 2 or 3. As the difference between 1 and 5 is great.

EDIT: Actually all your poll choices suck 😛 Who brushes their teeth for 10 mins?! Why is that even an option?

I got an electric toothbrush for my birthday gift. I gave it up and went to my old one, so I could roam...😀

my sister is hardcore, I can tell you she can brush teeth for 3 hours sitting in front of the computer. no one brush teeth in the bathroom in my family 😉
 
Get a Sonicare toothbrush and quit wasting time. It shuts off after 2 minutes and gets your teeth cleaner than spending 12 hours a day with the style of toothbrush that led your granddad to his dentures. 😛

maybe she just like the white thing in her mouth? 😛
well, we don't waste time brushing teeth and you can do alot of things, once you have the ability to hold the toothbrush in your mouth. people think that's disguest seeing you with brushtooth in your mouth tho.
 
Usually it averages about 4 minutes, but if I'm walking around or sitting at the computer, it can easily be 10-15 😉

WTF? I would think that brushing too long could cause long term problems....

The must be a reason electric toothburshes come with 2 minute warnings, and not 15 minutes!
 
Wow I didn't know ppl brushed longer than say 4 mins!! Probably about 2 here, I thought that was the recommended time, maybe I'm getting it mixed up with the shutoff time for that electric toothbrush.
 
I brush mine for around 4 minutes or so, unless I try using my offhand. Then I'm in there for 30 minutes drooling and slobbering all over the place. 😀
 
Brushing alone.. about 5 minutes, but by the time you throw in flossing, tongue scraping, and rinsing with Listerine... it gets closer to 10 minutes.
