Agh, I was stripping some wire today in Electricity/Electronics class and since we have no true wire strippers I used a straight edge razor and went around the wire like I had done twice the previous class. Well, this time it didn't exactly work.

I sliced a nice, neat cut through the layers of skin, it was a cut that is maybe 5mm long. No blood, just a cut through the skin. The straight edge (it was one of those straight edges in those metal holders so it is kinda like a knife with an adjustable blade length) was a little rusty, but I don't think it was on the blade (I'll double check tomorrow). By the way, immediately after this happened I ran to the sink and washed it out with some watered down soap (damn slacker teacher didn't get new soap so he just added water...lol!) but I used a lot so it did lather.

I think I got a tetanus shot about 10-11 months ago, I should be okay right? Also, considering it was just a tiny cut that never drew blood and was cleaned out less than 10 second after it happened, I should be okay?

Thanks. :)

Usually if you cut yourself, and it's been seven years or longer, the doctor will usually make you get one anyway.
