How long do black eyes take to go away?

Edit Day 4 swelling's down slightly, but the color and size of the bruising is deeeeeeeeeeeep purple. i still look like a damn fool

Blood flow to that area is pretty week. It'll take a week or two before it goes away. Expect the area to turn green and yellow as it heals too.
