How long can you store ceramique?

I have a tube of arctic silver ceramique that is over a year old. Can i still use it or is it best to just buy a new one?

If the cap was on properly it should be fine to use. I don't think that stuff breaks down very quickly and with the cap on it no air can get into the syringe to contaminate the compound.

is there an expirery date? Speeze some out and see if it looks normal. perhaps massage teh tube a little to mix it nicely if it has seperated

There isn't an expiration date and the tube isn't squeezable. But it looks fine when I push some out of the tube. I guess i'll see how much fry's charges and if it's a couple of bucks i'll get a new tube just to be on the safe side.

I'd take standard USPS on that. There are no local vendors of AS here in Virginia Beach so I'll pay for shipping one way or another.

Besides, I'm almost out, I need more soon. This could work out pretty good for me.

The contents can "settle" inside the tube over time, think oil paints...

but if AC can be good for a # of years exposed to air outside the tube (on the CPU/HS) then it surely should be good for a long time while being in the tube.
