ATOT Bread Recipe

if you eat a 1/4lb burger for lunch and dinner, you are eating about 3/4lb of food (buns, burger, tomato, lettuce, etc).

add 1/2 lb of total food for breafast, that's 1 1/4 lb of food you're eating a day, weight wise.

2 1/2 lb loaf = 2days food.

1 year of just eating ATOT wheat bread = $20.08 :Q Even if u pig out and eat the whole loaf a day, that's still only $40.15/yr.

just curious how long an avg human body can survive on bread and water?

Define "live."

Hmmm... now I wish I had a breadmaker. I wonder if I could adapt the recipe for an oven.

Probably quite a while. Longer if you added in some olive oil for fat intake. Add some vitamins and I don't see why you couldn't do it for decades.

A fairly long time, I would imagine.

Probably not a bad diet either, if you supplemented it with daily Centrum or other multivitamins. Certainly better than a MCD or other fast food based diet.

You folks need to read more history. When sailors were sentenced to "bread and water" it was a punishment which caused severe pain and hardship due to constipation. We're not talking about supplements, just bread and water. Remember the rule of threes, on average three days without water, three weeks without food and, three very painful weeks on bread and water.

What I wouldn't give for a loaf of potato bread right now! I might just eat the whole thing in one day... hard to come by in Korea.

The average fiber intake in the US is 12-15 grams a day. Whole wheat bread has around 1.5 to 2 grams per slice. Eating an entire loaf a day is going to keep you regular.

You'd die in fairly short order. Within 2 years. Scurvy would eventually kill you.

You should try to get some protein into your diet. Whey protein powder from sites like dpsnutrition.net is a good, cheap way to get lean, good tasting protein into your diet. You can survive on bread, but you will have no muscle at all, unless you REALLY kill yourself lifting extremely heavy weights (and your muscles wouldn't really grow), and it would be a waste without protein in your diet (especially no protein after a workout).

EDIT: You said burger, so not all of what I said is correct. Still, 1/2 lb of meat a day isn't really much.

I'd say at least 2 a week. You can get a bottle of AST 32x multivitamin for $14. Thats 100 pills. So $34.08 a year. We can assume that its well water to save money.

I'm guessing that you probably would not have enough energy left by the end of 1 month on this diet. Also, once you quit this diet, you're going to bloat up to quite a size.

Your comparison would make more sense if you were comparing foods with the same caloric content, not the same mass.

if you eat cigars, you could fend off many of the side step illnesses from just bread

mix a little protien powder in, take multivit's every day, and yeah, you could probably live off of that for a long time.
