How long can you let raw eggs sit out before they go bad?

I went grocery shopping at Costco today and didn't have time to go home and put everything in the fridge. Right now, there's a baked chicken, 24 raw eggs in a carton, and a "turkey wrap" with strawberry cream cheese sitting in the trunk of my car, and they'll probably stay in there for a good 4 hours before I have a chance to put them in my fridge.

How long do I have before everything goes bad and I have to throw it out?

The following foods are primary culprits in food poisoning and should be discarded if left over 2 hours above 40°F.

Casseroles, stews or soups
Doughs (refrigerator and cookie)
Eggs (fresh, egg substitutes)
Gravies
Lunch meats
Mayonnaise and Tartar sauce
Meat, (raw or cooked), poultry & seafood
Milk/ cream, yogurt, soft-cheese
Pasta (cooked pasta, pasta salads)
Pastries (cream-filled)
Pies (custard, chiffon or cheese)
Pizza, (meat-topped)

The eggs will be fine... They're eggs.

Is it a super hot day?... I'd say it's more likely the turkey wrap will go bad than anything else... Even the chicken will liekly be OK.....

I don't think that's in the shell... They come out of a chicken and are sat on for a long time before they ever get to your mouth and they're still fine...

eggs aren't refrigerated in england and they don't seem to have a problem with it.

But the English don't brush their teeth, so they have other issues. :Q

From personal experience I have not found any of that to be true.

Eggs kept at room temperature deteriorate as much in a day as they would in a week under refrigeration. A fresh egg will sink in water while an older egg will float.

I spoke with my coworker, who thinks they'll be okay because it's pretty cool out right now. Might have to toss the chicken, though.
