How long can you keep a penguin in the fridge until it goes bad?

I have a penguin I keep in the fridge because it's really hot here but I think the solitary confinement is getting to it. I mean I let it out once in a while for exercise and all, but still, it's attitude has definately changed since I first brought it home. So how long do you think it will be before it goes bad?

LOL. Actually, the idea struck me because in fact I used to keep a penguin in my freezer. An old gf of mine had bought me a little ceramic penguin one time for god knows what reason. I couldn't figure out what to do with it, so I put it in the freezer. I used to get all kinds of comments from people the first time they saw that penguin in the freezer.
