How long can you go without music?

I can easily play one of my favorite songs in my head, so a radio isn't necessary. But, thoughs and silence is good too. But, I also love cranking it up at night when I am sitting around relaxing.

Indefinitely. I actually find music annoying. For me, the world would be a better place without it. Just as horrible as the noise coming from constructions. There are some exceptions, but even those are bearable only because my mother used to listen to them when I was a child. I got used to them. My two colleagues I share a floor with are fond of their damned radio which is my constant source of annoyment. We made a deal so they listen to it half the day then they must turn it off. Ofc it's not exactly half the day, it's different every day. Sometimes I even get lucky and they forget to turn it back on in the afternoon. The worst kind of music are those that have singing in them... I simply HAVE TO listen to it, I can't stand it. Music in movies - when they have no singing in them - are a lot less annoying, sometimes even justifiable.

At this very moment the noise of a cricket is what drives me crazy. Seriously.
