How long can you go without blinking?

I was just playing NFS4 (the game, not the person) and realized I wasn't blinking and my eyes hurt. I try to blink while playing, but it's hard while driving a McLaren F1 GTR on a snowy, curve-filled course.

I think I managed to stop blinking for about 40 seconds. How long can you last?
 
I made 52 seconds... but I think contact lenses help. They dry out and help hold your eyelids open for you. 🙂

(this can't be good for my eyes...)
 
1 minute, 5 seconds. I could have done it longer, but I screwed up cause I changed the focus of my vision. With my contacts in I could probably go for more than 2 mins.
 
Well I assume indefinitely...because I just did 4 minutes and 30 seconds and decided that I wasn't going to do it any longer. I think contacts help a lot. But some tips 🙂))...make your eyes unfocused, and the trick is getting past the first surge of pain. 😀
 
1 minute and 6 seconds, my eyes were about to pop, little tip i noticed stare at the ms clock and cross your eyes slightly it reduces the strain atleast it did for me.

HAHAHAHA! 1 minute 30 seconds.

I could only do it by getting myself to cry. So after having my brother kick me in the nuts, I proceeded to squint real hard, to keep the layer of tears over my eyes.

I couldn't have done it without you, bro!!

but my sister? she saw this thread and immediately started staring at the wall. 6:10 sh!t! I was astonished... she claims that her contacts help (no kidding, wow). guess I should try to sell her to the circus

Actually, anyone can do it for over 10minutes at a time. The secret is to move your eyes in a complete rotation every few seconds. This will wet the outer points of you eyes and can even keep the whole surface saturated depending on how much you keep your eye lids open.

btw: Make sure to move to the full extremities of the sides, top, and bottom. Try it out!
 
You don't gotta believe me, but back in 7th grade I did it for 30 minutes straight. Tears were literally streaming out of my eyes and the teacher got pissed off and sent me out of the room cuz everyone was staring at me. Needless to say, I was a bit different back then.

I can go without blinking a whole 10 seconds!!!.........Well, I could probaly go longer, but after 10 seconds, I started to think, what's the point???🙂
 
Damnit , 2 mintues and 20 seconds, no contacts and it was an atomatic blink not that I couldnt do it any longer.
 
40 seconds....probably longer if i am not in air-conditioning room or winter. 🙂
