How long can the power button's wires be?

Are there any restrictions to how long the wires can be going to the momentary switch that an ATX PS needs? Also, do the wires need to be twisted pair? I am asking because I want to run a switch about 15 feet away from the actual motherboard. Thanks.

Depends on the board, but my guess is a few hundred feet.

15 feet == 4.567 meter.

DC current can easily travel 100+ meters without a serious decrease in strength of the signal.

Yeah it's not like its sending data..It's just an open/close type deal
