How long can I run a gas cooktop for heat?

That's what I figured about the inverters. It was odd as it was trying to kick on the main blower first, it wasn't following the normal firing order.

I have a 2.4kw generator, but it's at my parents. They've been without power longer than me.

I got a 30 horse tractor, i'm just going to buy a 15kw PTO generator and be done with it. I'll be ready for the zombie apocalypse.

Don't leave it on constantly, but find a recipe for something that takes a long time to cook. Stews are perfect, usually a 2-3 hour cooking time, and great cold weather food.
