how long before we see viruses targeting cell phones

how long before one of the antivirus makers make a nice little worm to take out cell phones so they can peddle a antivirus for cellphones?

or

untill a geek that is sick of nearly getting run over while walking on a sidewalk at his college by people driving that are glued to a cellphone?

Already has happened. I think they were for Series 60 phones IIRC.

symantec could develope an antivirus software for them and sell it, so they have a motive to "raise virus awareness" of cell phones, if they chose to develope a antivirus for cellphones

while i was in the can today, i picked up my copy of popular science and there was an article about virii targeting cell phones.
