HMm, brass knuckles, good idea. Last year I got pushed over by some 400lb fat dude trying to get to the hard drive section.

I never, ever wait in line to spend money. Not at clubs, not in restaurants or at checkout lanes if they are too long.

I'm sorry to break RossMan's heart by refusing to bow down before the altar of consumerism, but I'm definitely not going anywhere near a store on Black Friday this year. :p

We did it several years ago when we needed to pick up a bunch of stuff for our new apartment, but that's it. It wasn't that bad (only spent about 30 minutes waiting outside of Target at 7 AM), but seeing the line at Wal-Mart that morning at 6 AM was jaw-dropping.

I won't be going this year after going the past few years. There's just nothing that really catches my attention like previous years. Plus I'll be 1/2 hr from the nearest city that just has a BB.

I'm going to sleep til noon. If I feel really ambitious later in the day I'll drive past a mall and laugh.

I might go to Fry's, but it will be many hours after they open.

I have several reasons.
1.) I work on black Friday (get thanksgiving off, but not BF)
2.) If I wasn't at work, I would take advantage of that fact that I didn't have to wake up on time for work, and I would therefore sleep in late.
3.) I hate lines.
4.) I hate congestion
5.) I hate waiting

I don't plan on doing the BF thing, I never have, and probably never will. I buy everything when I see it, I rarely wait for sales.

Anyone who goes in the morning, if they're shooting for the good stuff, has it all wrong :p My brother and I are taking my minivan (with the back seats out, it's like a pickup truck :p) with a small grill, heater, dvd player, blankets, etc to Best Buy the night before. Hmm maybe I'll buy brats and hamburgers and make some for the 30+ other people that will be there with us. Last year it was absolutely, positively freezing. brrrrr

Same here. Might try and convince my dad to wait with me, as he wants a 42in LCD too.

I haven't bought anything at an actual B&M store in years, so no, I won't be waiting in line. I prefer to buy everything except groceries online...

I go with my mom and grandma and a bunch of girls, and since they are bunch of girls I generally go to plow through crowds because they're far too diplomatic. If I see anything fun along the way I'll grab it.

I am willing to pay a few dollars more for anything I want to avoid the craziness and lines of black friday.

Everthing turns black...and people go nuts buying stuff because they think the end is near.

LOL, it would all be different for you if the local Schwinn dealer had a black friday sale.

I'll be in the Frederick, MD area and the stores are opening at 11:59 pm on Nov. 23. I kinda get to avoid "Black Friday" all together.

LOL!! I'm kinda in the same position, and it didn't help that I played on the O-line for my high school football team.
