It was 96 or 97 when I downloaded Rape Kelly's I believe I can fly. This was back in the old AOL warez scene when I all of a suddene started gettin songs from mass mailers instead of apps and games. Well, to make a long story short, the mp3s wouldn't play on our 486 25 mhz at the time so I went and bought a 200 mhz top of the line machine about 5 monthes later

1998, went to college and had high speed internet access.

I used audiogalaxy to find ftp servers.

The following year I found napster. mmm.
