How long are the threads archived?

I've been trying to find some older posts from about 2 months ago and they have disappeared. Also the search feature seems to have changed. One can only search for a single keyword unlike the old which allowed for two keywords.
 
I too was looking for some topics that seem to have disappeared. It seems that there's a gap in the database. I could see post from this month and 3 months to a year ago but not 2 months ago.
 
Yes, there seems to be a gap in the archives, from about August 17 onwards, running for about 2 weeks.

Which is a pity, because there are some things that I want in the threads. Oh well.
