How long after getting married did you go on your honeymoon?

Did you go right away, or did you wait a little while?

I'm just thinking that if I got married in the summer, I'd like to wait until the winter to take a trip down south because our summers are really nice here, and it would be nice to get away from -30 come december or january.

I first read that as you went on a honeymoon for a year.

We went immediately (the day after our wedding). Being in Mississippi, anything is better than here, so we had no reason to wait.

Well I am getting married in October and we are going on a honeymoon. I thought about waiting because of finances but most everyone has been telling em if you wait because of whatever reasons you might not ever go.

We have not been on our honeymoon yet. We were married in February. Maybe another year so we can plan something nice.

My wife and I went on our honeymoon the day after we were married. We went to Cancun for a week.

Edit-We were married in September (a number of years ago).

We left for California on the late afternoon of our wedding day and never looked back.
