How large a HD will Epox 8KHA+ accept?

I have a 4 year old Epox 8KHA+ (via KT266A chipset) which is running Win XP. It still works great for my purposes, but I need lots more HD storage. How large a hard drive can I use without resorting to BIOS overlay software?


I have the latest BIOS from EPOX. I can not seem to find this information on their site or the amdmb.com forum.

I got that motherboard too, but the largest HD I put in there was only 120gb. Why not just flash a new bios? there shouldn't be any probs with that.

I *have* flashed it to the latest BIOS that is offered by EPOX. But, I have no idea whether or not it supports HDs larger than 128 GB.

My hunch is that it does not.

I've used a 80, 120 and 200gig harddrive on my 8KHA+.
