How is write speed on CF vs SD cards?

I am looking at the Canon A520 and A95. I have played around with both of them, and they seem fairly compareable. At this point, SD cards seem to cost about the same as CF cards, so that isn't an issue. But does anyone know how the write speed (and read speed, but doesn't matter as much) compares?

At present, CF can win the speed race with SD simply because it has more pins over which to send data. CF is bigger physically, and some day will give way to SD. But for now - that day ain't here just yet.
