How is working for a .COM these days?

So, I'm looking for a new job and just got a call from a recruiter pitching Orbitz in downtown Chicago for me. I would be doing work for the site, doing system development life cycle stuff in a senior level position. So, how is it working for a .COM these days?

basically, developing a system from start to finish. Picking out the hardware and software, doing design work and coding, testing the systen, then deploying the finished system in a nutshell...

If you don't mind losing your job to India in a year, I say for for it. Orbitz is owned be Cendent.

In the travel industry an Orbit is a software bug.
