I just ordered all these parts and was wondering if you guys thought I was making any errors besides the lack of SCSI (not enough dough).

nice system...with all that ram, i'm hoping you are gonna be running win2k or XP.
9x/ME can't make use of all that ram.
i'd like to suggest a Maxtor HDD instead of IBM. but they're both good. i've heard problems with the latest IBM's tho.
what with the Zip? people actually still use those things? lol. mine is collecting dust since i formatted a CDRW and can back up my files at 10x. 😀

Im in the preview prorgam for xp so i'll be running rc2 until i save enough money for win xp pro

you should get bigger PSU and maybe not spend all that money on the Gainward and some other G3 the rest looks good

What wattage do you think I should have? I thought you'd didn't need much more than 300w with a Tbird.

You dont NEED more than 300W, but with all the drives you have and if your gonna add an extra HD later, you might be taxing that 300W PS. Go for an Enermax 430W, it'll do you good. You can never have too much power 🙂
