It's ECC. Do you have a server board or an Athlon 64 FX board? If not, it may not work.

In that case no. Instead of paying the extra for ECC, spend the extra on buying higher speed ram.

Get something CL2 or 2.5 and if you can for the same price, get something like corsair ram. ECC whacks an extra topping on the final price :(

ah okay :) im gonna go for some Non-ECC Crucial DDR 400 Ram... since i dont plan on overclocking im sure the crucial ram will be fine for me... agree? :p
