How is this "Enhanced"??

I am a little confused as to the two versions available of Leadtek Geforce 2 Pro's. I just received the "Enhanced" version in an order. But there is also the older "original" version available/or was. What does quite not make sense is that the "Enhanced" version actually has slower specs then the original model. Also on many occasions, the "Enhanced" model is refereed to as a "GTS 2" chipset, rather then the faster "Pro" chipset. Is there any explanation?

What the crap?

From the Dictionary: "Enhanced"
To make greater, as in value, beauty, or effectiveness; augment.
To provide with improved, advanced, or sophisticated features: computer software enhanced with cutting-edge functionalities.

I am aware it looks a nice green colour and has some pretty LED's but what about the slower ram and Core/Memory??

Cheers.. 😛 😛

it's the same with some POWERCOLOR-CARDS, they call it a PRO, but it isn't really, it's just slightly higher clocked than a GTS.
the rest is marketing and it seems to work out for the companies.

It's like enriched white bread! First, they take out the nutrients, then they put a few back in - voila, enriched!

See, you're looking at it all wrong. You have to compare the enhanced against the same card without the pretty LEDs and green colour, not some pie in the sky ideal where the core and memory are better. PFFT, you're going about it all wrong. Think about what it has instead of what it could have. If not enhanced, it might be any color, and without the LEDs, it couldn't uh, do, uh, whatever.

It's a white bread world
