How is this component selection?

Hi,

I'm building a new desktop so I can move my old desktop to the office. I'll be using it mostly for work (data intensive algorithms) but I'd like it to be able to handle modern games well too.

Some specific questions, are the case and PSU good selections? Is the PSU appropriate wattage for this system (or overkill)? Any suggestions for alternatives?

An alternative would be to go w/

instead of AMD, is this a better option?
