How is this budget build?

If you have a mcro center near you the i-2500k is nearly same speed as the ivy bridge processor and $40 less.

Probalby the weakest component is the 650ti which seemed to not have the best reviews but no clue the resolution of the display.

also not sure about the psu; wattage seems fine but not sure of quality.

I see a build; I don't see a budget. 😛 Now that you're in GH, could you answer [thread=80121]these questions[/thread] for us? (AKA the "sticky questions".)

Avoid RaidMax PSUs. On a build with low-power gaming cards, we can start with the Corsair CX430 for $35AR.

For quad-core Intel processors we can set a baseline of the 3350P, closely followed by the 3470.

You can also look at cheap B75 mobos.

We can look at cheap RAM with fins if you're not overclocking.

Apologies. My budget is around 700-800 bucks. I plan to play games like Skyrim, racing games, Elder Scrolls Online, etc. Any new game really. Metro 2033 i want to try. Never played. Crysis 3. I want it to be a system i can upgrade later without having to buy a whole new system.

My tv is a 47in 1080p Vizio, 55" 1080p Samsung, and a 19" i symphony 1366x768.. I will probably switch back and forth between them all.

As far as the PSU, I think Ill go with the Corsair 500

The PCU I think I will stick with my first choice, i dont want to go up in price anymore.

Any other tips?

The Corsair 200R is a slightly cheaper case with front-panel USB
3.0 (which I believe the Biostar board Ken_g6 recommended supports). With your budget, I'd move up to a 7850 ($60 more or so than the 650ti you picked) which will run most games at 1080p no problem. It also comes with Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite for free!

Oops, didn't see your post. It looks good, but I'd use the cheaper RAM Ken_g6 suggested. This is a 4-DIMM slot H77 board for $60 after a $10 rebate, which gives you more room to grow.
