How is the Postal Service about paying off insurance?

I had a DIMM go bad on me last month and I RMAed it to Kingston on July 6.

Now I find out that they haven't recieved it.

There's no way that the Postal Service can take 22 days to deliver a package, so I can only assume they lost it.

Has anyone ever filed an insurance claim on the USPS? How many years are we talking about before I see my money?

I have no personal experience.

However, I hear that they are teh suxor and that they will try and give you the run-around.l

Oh and don't be so certain that it can't take 20 days.

I sent a package around christmas and I got it sent back to me in April. -_-

I just got a Christmas card that was mailed in NY Dec 17th and delivered to Tallahassee Jul 14!

I think you have to wait at least 30 days before filing a claim if it hasn't arrived. It's all on their web site somewhere.
