How is the Nec 1970GX LCD

I was thinking of getting the Nec 1970GX 19 inch LCD. I saw it at Frys and loved the way it looked with that opticlear coating. What's weird is it was next to the Viewsonic VP930B which is an 8 bit panel while the Nec is only a 6 bit panel. But to me the Nec's colors looked much better than the Viewsonic's. I was just wondering how it does for gaming? Games like BF2 if anyone has this monitor or anything about it I'd love to hear from you....
