how is the mod Day of Defeat 2.0 ???

i have never played the mod for half life....kinda gotten away from the game and saw that they came out with a new mod revision

how does this compare to wolfenstien or MOH:AA

just curious if it is worth a download and install

Best Half Life mod in existance. The Graphics and Animation are way above counter strike.

As for RTCW and MOH:AA... well it is better than both of those as well. The graphics actually stand up pretty well against both (though obviously they aren't as good), and the game play is just far superior. It is the best multiplay FPS there is. I have played them all and there is just no comparison. The only one that comes close actually is a large game of Operation Flashpoint on a LAN so the lag isnt too bad.

how big of a file is it ???

and what do you need as far as newest patches to halflife ???

my version is old i would assume you would need the latest patch huh ???

I was disappointed with MOH:AA

Look at "MyRigThingy" below and you will understand why I really didn't expect to see "laggy"
performance (MOH:AA) when I tried the single player demo. but I did

PS: you need V1108 for half-life too.... These files (upgrade and DoD) are HUGE.... so plan ahead when d/l'ing

how can u get laggy performance from that? i have (for a few more weeks) a amd k6-2 450, 128mb, voodoo 3, THAT is laggy

When I started playing the demo, I got up the road a ways and started noticing

behavior which was similar to what you would experience if your mouse sensitivity was set WAY down....

That's what I was calling "laggy" (for lack of a better term)

This was at 1024X728X32 (100Hz) with all details and stuff turned on... which shouldn't really be all that tasking

for this setup.... So I blamed it on the game and chose not to spend $$ for it.
