Is this board any good and will it work with a 1.4 Ghz 266 FSB processor?

Yes it should take a 1.4GHz Tbird-C. But, I personally don't recommend MAGiK chipset for its poor performance, I would get for a DDR mobo, MSI's K7 Master or Epox 8k7a both AMD 760 boards, the Epox has RAID< K7 MAster doesn't.
