That's a good price for a 2MP digicam, HP's aren't the best but they aren't the worst either.

Anyone know where to get drivers for this camera? HP wants $11 to ship a CD with the drivers and doesn't allow you to download them :(

I don't know about the HP 320 but I know someone with an HP 315 and IMO it sucks. It's a 3MP camera and the pictures look significantly worse than the picture from my Canon A40 (2MP). Indoor pics look pretty bad. I think the flash is way too weak. I would not recommend an HP.

i got this for $80 through OfficeDepot a while agao...

Overall, I like the camera. For $80 it takes great pictures, and the flash on the 320 is more than sufficient. IF all you need is a point and shoot camera, this is the way to go, if you can get it cheap. If you need something to take close ups, or other more mid to higher end stuff, you might want to spend more money...

It's exactly the one I was going to buy... But forgot to. PLs update if you find it any good... I chose it b/c it's the lowest price available in it's class.

I got the hot deal on this a few months back. I'm pretty happy with it for the price. The flash is kind of weak, and the camera is kind of slow. But if you have good light, I think it takes good pics. And the avi feature works well also. I got a 64MB card for it, so I always take pics at high rez ... at the lowest rez, I got lots of moire type patterns & artifacts.

Here's a sample (resized with gimp)

for a little bit more money, you can step up to a 2 megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom, which makes all the difference. i'm not quite up to date on digital cameras, but you may want to check out fuji, minolta, pentax and canon, as they all have lower range cameras with those exact specs for under $200

I used to have the 620 and it was a POS. Forget about taking pics in low light conditions..grainy as hell. Get the Fuji which is around 150.

EDIT: I got the camera for 50 bucks after an Office depot coupon glitch (they counted my 25off coupon twice). If you can get it for that cheap then get it :)

sorry... the camera is crap.

i bought it also during the OM deal for $80. Pictures are borderline OK. The camera sucks in the dark and in large rooms. There are practically no settings (other than flash and quality). The digital zoom SUCKS.

I'd totally stay away.

Like I've said for a long time, avoid HP and Kodak digicams.

Im thinking of getting a digital camera soon. I think Im going to get a Canon, which one though? A40 or A60? Im not sure what the major differences are, and why the A60 is about $100 more...

A40 is the older model, if you can find it buy it.

A60 replaces the A40, you can find it at Dell for around $200-$215 during one of their sales.
