How is the ECS P965T for an Intel E6600?

So, I've been thinking of a new PC (gaming/internet), and the new Intel series seem like a great value.

Today, Fry's has the E6600 with an ECS P965T motherboard for $379 + tax.

Is that an ok setup? I don't overclock or LAN or anything else too facy; I do want it to work reliably and to support the normal accessories, which it seems to (e.g. SATA 3.0/sec).

Any feedback on the chip or board or the overall deal or 'wait 2 months for X' welcome. But it sounds like the wait' part is at the point what we waited for is here with these chips.

It'll be fine for what you plan on using it for.

A Gigabyte P965 DS3 would a lot better though if you want to overclock.

Good Solid motherboard, do not expect any overclocking miracles or much in the way of bios adjustments. We will have a review up within the week on this board, the $99 Foxconn, and $95 MSI P965 budget boards. ECS has the PX1 Extreme coming out next that will offer some overclocking ability and priced around $120.

With positive comments like these, who could say no?

Pros: well shipped easy to follow install instructions.
Pros: Everything's laid out nicely, and the board came packaged cleanly, with many accessories.
Pros: easy to install / good wit core 2 duo / love it !
Pros: Motherboard came with all high-end features. Support DDR2 800 16GB, GBLan, dual PCIe 16X(O RLY?). Price ia awasome. I haven't bought the Core 2 Duo CPU, but system is running extremely fast right now.
